The Making Of A Mind Movie - Part 1

Posted by: Barb on Oct 05, 2007

A few months back, I was extremely fortunate to win a membership with MindMovies.com, which I describe as a treasure map in motion. I had read about them back when they first opened shop, but it wasn’t until I read Vickie’s post about her movie that I became interested in making one for myself.

I decided to go about it on my own, figuring if it was so simple that I could do this without being shown how, and also not trusting that I’d have the funds to purchase a membership.

To make a long story short, I spent a lot of time and energy trying to find ways to create this movie. While I found what I would need to know, I would have had to invest a bunch more time and energy to learn how to actually make the movie.

Furthermore, the MindMovies.com site offers so much more with their membership, like:

  • 1-time payment of$37. NO recurring fees. Nothing else to buy
  • Immediate Access to our tutorials and members area
  • Neuro - Linguistic essentials for programming your subconscious
  • Download and Keep all required software
  • Keep, edit or make more Mind Movies forever
  • Suitable for any PC or Mac OS 8 and above
  • and a bunch of bonuses (check out the site to see what these are as they keep adding to it)

So I set my intention to get the membership, and asked Dave to gift it to me for Mothers Day. )

I knew I was getting it, but Mothers Day came and passed without the funds to purchase the membership. Still, I had put it out there that I would indeed have this, and soon won a membership.

Back when I won, a membership was only two months long. About a month after I received my membership, MindMovies.com made the membership available for an unlimited time.

I was relieved because I wasn’t getting around to working on my movie, and time was passing quickly. Yes, I was feeling the pressure to get this done, and now I could relax about it.

Completely excited to get my movie completed, I signed in and began the process.

You can read about the first few steps in Part 2. D

Are you sure about the mind movie software working on Macs? They told me they didn’t have a version for the Mac when I contacted them.

Josef, I copied that information straight from their site, so you might want to check back. D

Who you really are is a wonderfully adventurous spirit, ever eager to expand Itself and Its experiences. The Human Game of limitation is no big deal to the Real You. The real challenge of The Human Game is forgetting who you really are and hiding all your power so you can play in the first place!
