About my stamped jewelry
I just love making the stamped jewelry! The possibilities for personalization are great - much more so than using letter beads or factory made “word” beads! These pieces are made from sterling silver in a couple of different widths. I can make them very simple or quite ornate. I can create it as a band or make segments that are attached by chain. Your bracelet can even have a fun or private message stamped inside! I can fit about 10 characters per inch, including spaces, with the average band measuring 6 1/2 inches (with the average bracelet size being 7 1/2 inches). About my chain
I thought I’d take some space to tell you about chain making. So far, the chain I’ve made, besides basic chain, are chain maille patterns. Chain maille is the linking of rings to form a fabric of metal. I didn’t know it when I started making it (which I did just because I love chain and I couldn’t find something different anywhere), but chain maille is one of the fastest-growing areas of jewelry art.
I weave the rings in different patterns - some are very simple, some are complex, most are thousands of years old! Because I only want to provide the best quality jewelry that I can make, I purchase the best quality sterling silver rings (handmade, too, but by somebody else) with which to make it! I take my time to close the rings seemlessly - chain maille jewelry is not soldered. So instead of getting some machine-made, just-like-everybody-else’s piece of jewelry, you are getting a piece of jewelry in which I have put my time and attention to detail, and which is beautiful and unique.
