How many times did you hear, “What do you think I am? Made of money?!!” from an adult when you, as a child, asked for some money to spend to your liking?
I heard it quite a bit from my father.
Late last fall I started a photography business, which has been a dream of mine since I was about 9 years old.
Since doing so, I’ve had to learn how to post process my photos. It’s been a steep learning curve (and my gosh, I feel I’ll be learning forever), but I’m having a ton of fun while I’m learning.
One of the latest techniques I’m learning about is how to apply textures to my photos, an artistic choice. A person can take a photo of a textured object or background (like lace or sand) and apply it to a photo of a person, play around a bit, and create an interesting piece of art.
So, not long ago the thought, “I’m not made of money” popped into my head and I immediately began to counter that thought. If everything is, as I believe, made of the same stuff (energy, Source, etc.), then money and I are made of the same thing.
Playing around with it, I came to the conclusion that I *am* made of money!
After working with the photo textures I saw a photo of money I have hanging on my wall, and put the two ideas together: I could create a visual example of myself made of money!
So here it is, with a photo taken in 2006 (I really need to get a new photo, lol).

When working with textures, a photographer usually removes the texture from the face and other important parts, but I did it the other way around (though, technically, everything is made of God-stuff, as we call it in my family).
What do you think?
If you’d like me to do the same for you, I’d gladly do it for a donation (amount of your choice) or a positive energy exchange. I can make the money more or less prominent, as you wish.

Boy, things have been really busy here since my last post in October; I can’t believe it’s almost the end of November already!
I’ll keep this short, though, because explaining it all would take a while. You could check out this link if you’re really interested in what I’ve been doing, however.

This post is to let you know that I’m finally closing down my old site, even though the shop on this site still isn’t working. I’ve got a possible solution for getting the shop open here, which I’ll probably do after the holidays - keep your eyes open for that.
Until then, I want to let you know that I’ve marked the remaining items at Little Things off by about 50%. That’s a huge savings!!

It might not be exact because I did the math in my head, as I was too lazy to get up and find a calculator (if I had left the computer, somebody else would have taken over it!!
).
Once something is gone, it’s gone for good, so get it now. They’ll make wonderful holiday gifts!
You’ll find everything here: Little Things
Most of the items are in the bracelets and necklaces section, but there is a child’s bracelet still available.

There are a bunch of wonderful barrettes in the “other things” section that are not on sale (because they’re made by a friend of mine), but if you’re interested in buying a bunch, contact me and we’ll work out a deal!
I’m not renewing the site next month, so you have two or three weeks until the site shuts down. Hurry to check it out so that somebody else doesn’t get what you’re interested in.
Let me know if you have any questions!

Oh my, the time has finally arrived for me to host this carnival. I’ve been excitedly anticipating seeing the posts that would be submitted for this theme!
I imagined writing something clever about “a picture being worth a thousand words”…
I imagined having a difficult time deciding which posts to feature because they ALL fit the theme…
Yet as I began to browse through the entries, I realized that I might not get any to feature; that is, there may not have been any entries that fit the theme.
In fact, I noticed that most of the posts not only didn’t fit the theme, they didn’t even have one picture in their posts!

I was quite disappointed. I had imagined all sorts of images creatively related to the Law of Attraction! And I must admit, being a stay-at-home-mom with homeschooled kids, I figured this theme would save me a lot of time.
Usually it takes me two or three days to read through the Law Of Attraction Carnivals, and I certainly don’t read every submission. This time I had to read the submissions - more than 25 (and counting, as submissions can be made through Monday) - and write about them as well.
Images would have been a lot easier for me!
Edward, who owns the Carnival, told me that I had free reign to include whichever posts I felt best fit with this edition. As I read through the entries, I heard some cackling in my head, as apparently a little dictator in me was excited to wield some power:
Mwa-ha-ha-ha-ha… this one doesn’t make it in… neither does this one… mwa-ha-ha…
But I stuck that little power-hungry guy back in his corner and decided to include as many as I could into the Carnival - even if it took some stretching.
So here we go…
RIDES

Mike at Spooky Action with The Key To ‘The Secret’ In One Picture - This is my favorite entry of them all! I am grateful he left a link to this post in the comments of my reminder post, or else it wouldn’t have even made it in (thanks, Mike!).
Zoe at Law of Attraction for Inspired Living brings us Law of Attraction in Action: synergy and symbiotics - I’d personally like to hear the story behind this set of photos, to understand it better. Still, Zoe applied the theme to her post and I appreciate it very much (though you can share the story with us if you feel drawn to, Zoe!).
Melanie at Be Alive*Believe*Be You didn’t submit this entry, but I was hoping she would (or that somebody else would submit something similar). Then Edward mentioned I could add things I had found elsewhere, and I knew immediately I would find a post of hers that would fit well. Please check out Melanie’s journal pages at Powerful Intimacy.
Michelle at Conscious Destiny didn’t submit this next entry, either, but the moment it came to my email box I knew I had to link to it somewhere in this edition. Check out her video about how to create a treasure map - in 2 minutes (sped up) - at 1,2,3 Treasure Mapping.
The photo above is a treasure map I created back in July. My plan is to do a bunch of little ones like that one (it’s done inside of a CD case) according to the areas of the feng shui bagua and place them up on my wall in that same fashion.
For the next part of the Carnival, I am going to list all of the submissions which fit into any of the categories from previous Carnivals, in no particular order. Because I’ve already said so much
, I’ll leave out the synopsis of each post.

These last submissions don’t seem to fit in any of of the themes from the past carnivals, but would be great themes for future carnivals!
Words
Raymond from ZenChill’s post about Switchwords, was interesting, particularly because I know so many people who have used them successfully. I’ve even taught my kids REACH to good effect.
Attention
I think that Bert’s focus on attention would make a great theme for an upcoming carnival!
Lorraine’s post Power of Attraction - Luck or Brilliance? fits well here or in the next category.
Beliefs
As Alex states, everything happens to use because of what we believe. Here, he shares about what he believes - it’s very inspiring.
How NOT to use LOA
I’ve seen a few posts of this style and always find them a useful twist; I believe a whole carnival could be dedicated to this theme.
Check out Anastasia’s post 5 ways to fail with the Law of Attraction for an idea of what I mean.
That sums up this edition of the Law of Attraction Carnival. If your submission didn’t make it in, I apologize - I truly tried to find something in everybody’s post that would speak to some aspect of LOA.

A few months back, I was extremely fortunate to win a membership with MindMovies.com, which I describe as a treasure map in motion. I had read about them back when they first opened shop, but it wasn’t until I read Vickie’s post about her movie that I became interested in making one for myself.
I decided to go about it on my own, figuring if it was so simple that I could do this without being shown how, and also not trusting that I’d have the funds to purchase a membership.

To make a long story short, I spent a lot of time and energy trying to find ways to create this movie. While I found what I would need to know, I would have had to invest a bunch more time and energy to learn how to actually make the movie.
Furthermore, the MindMovies.com site offers so much more with their membership, like:
- 1-time payment of$37. NO recurring fees. Nothing else to buy
- Immediate Access to our tutorials and members area
- Neuro - Linguistic essentials for programming your subconscious
- Download and Keep all required software
- Keep, edit or make more Mind Movies forever
- Suitable for any PC or Mac OS 8 and above
- and a bunch of bonuses (check out the site to see what these are as they keep adding to it)
So I set my intention to get the membership, and asked Dave to gift it to me for Mothers Day.
I knew I was getting it, but Mothers Day came and passed without the funds to purchase the membership. Still, I had put it out there that I would indeed have this, and soon won a membership.
Back when I won, a membership was only two months long. About a month after I received my membership, MindMovies.com made the membership available for an unlimited time.
I was relieved because I wasn’t getting around to working on my movie, and time was passing quickly. Yes, I was feeling the pressure to get this done, and now I could relax about it.
Completely excited to get my movie completed, I signed in and began the process.
You can read about the first few steps in Part 2.

Something has happened to my site and it’s affecting the way everything is laid out on your screens. All the links continue to work, and individual posts look “normal”.
I believe it’s from my laughter post; I think that YouTube video skewed things a bit. I’m not sure why it would have, as I’ve embedded a YouTube video before without a problem.
I’ve sent off an email to my designer and am setting the intention that it is fixed quickly and easily.
In the meantime, get your entries submitted to the Law of Attraction Blog Carnival and look for it here next week!
Editing to add: yes, it was the video. I finally did a search on the ‘net and found out how to fix the problem, ‘cuz I had that carnival coming up. I am so grateful for the internet and the helpful people in all the myriads of communities there!! I’m amazed almost daily!
